Sambiloto (bitter) : scientific name Andrographis Paniculata Ness.

General characteristics : an annual terna plant, growing upright, height 50 cm. stems branching a lot, young stems are green, old stems are colored tengguli. The surface of the leaves is white, the upper surface of the leaves is dark green, while the lower surface of the leaves is light green, 8-20 cm long, 5-10 cm wide. flowers appear at the end of the stem, the shape of a weevil (flower head), yellow. Has a tuber that is grayish in color, 3-9 cm long and has a width of 3 cm, 2 cm in diameter and brown in color. Single leaf, young leaves are brown, when old leaves are green with a length of 10-29 cm and a width of 1.5-2 cm. compound interest, grayish white. The shape of pods with a length of 2.5-3.5 cm, width 4-6 cm, contains 4-8 cm. young fruits are green, while old ones are brown.
Parts used : all parts except roots (herbs), both dry and fresh.

General Characteristics :
